**Christian Fellowship for India Honors Investigative Journalist Mathew Samuel with Inaugural Pandita Ramabai Award**
Dallas, TX: — Christian Fellowship for India is proud to announce that prominent investigative journalist Mr. Mathew Samuel has been named the first recipient of the Pandita Ramabai Award.

The award honors the legacy of Pandita Ramabai, a high-caste Brahmin who, after embracing Christ, dedicated her life to reforming abusive social practices and empowering women and marginalized communities. Her courage created a blueprint for justice that continues to inspire generations.
Mathew Samuel embodies this legacy through his fearless reporting. A leading voice against corruption, he has spent his career defending the secular constitutional rights of minorities and Christians across India. Moving beyond the headlines, Mr. Samuel has traveled extensively through India’s rural heartlands to document the vital work of missionaries and the powerful Christian revivals transforming the lives of poor, illiterate, and tribal populations.
“Pandita Ramabai effort is to give a voice to the voiceless,” said Pr. Mathew Samuel, Shaji Karackal and Thomas Mullackal, at the Christian Fellowship for India. “In Mathew Samuel, we see that same commitment to stand for constitutionally granted rights to every citizen whether they or minority or marginalzed. His dedication to uncovering the reality of the marginalized makes him the ideal first recipient of this honor.”
By bridging the gap between historical reform and modern advocacy, Christian Fellowship for India celebrates the enduring pursuit of dignity and truth for all people.
